The European Clinical Specialization in Fluency Disorders is a one-year program - compatible with the workload of an SLP - for speech-language pathologists wanting to become European Fluency Specialists. The program is run by a consortium consisting of 10 partners (universities and colleges) and 5 associate partners from 9 European countries.
We were honored to be one of keynote speakers at the recent European Symposium on Fluency Disorders 2020 which took place on February 15th, 2020 in Antwerp, Belgium. Our talk was titled "Game Changer: a voice controlled videogame for people who stutter". We dug deeper into the science behind our video game Fluency Friends and explored the various forms of stuttering therapy that is being incorporated into our video game. It was a fantastic and enthusiastic audience and were proud to share our research and work with all who came to listen. We hope to meet you at the next symposium!
